DJ Sanjoy (Sanjoy Deb) is a Los Angeles-based artist of Bangladeshi.

Bangladesh is joining the world football extravaganza this time. Popular DJ and music producer of Bangladeshi origin Sanjoy is coming to rock the Toronto stage at the opening ceremony of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

He will perform at a special event before the country's opening match in Toronto, Canada on June 12.

According to FIFA's official announcement, this Bangladeshi-American youth has been chosen to showcase Canada's cultural diversity alongside world-famous stars like Alanis Morissette and Michael Buller.

The presence of Bangladeshi talent at a global event like the World Cup is expected to brighten the country's image abroad.
