


American singer-songwriter and five-time Grammy winner, Mariah Carey, has been announced as one of the leading performers for the opening ceremony of the upcoming Winter Olympics.
Mariah Carey (56) will sing on the Opening Ceremony of the Winter Olympics, Friday, February 6, at Milan's San Siro stadium, the home ground of football clubs Inter and AC Milan.
The Milan and Cortina Games will run from February 6 to February 22’ 2026. Athletes will be able to participate in the ceremony from other venues across Milan, Cortina, Valtellina, and Val di Fiemme.
Carey follows in the footsteps of other major stars, including Celine Dion and Lady Gaga, who performed at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris.
Carey is experienced in performing at major sporting events, having sung the U.S. national anthem at the 2002 NFL Super Bowl and the 2003 NBA All-Star game, and performing her own music at the 2020 US Open women's tennis final.
