Sunamganj-5 MP Milon Inspects Chhatak Municipality Activities

Sunamganj-5 MP Kalim Uddin Ahmed Milon visited the Chhatak Municipality office on Saturday to inspect ongoing administrative operations and discuss local civic services.

Arriving at 11:00 am, the MP was welcomed with floral tributes by Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) and Municipal Administrator Mohammad Mohi Uddin, alongside municipal staff. Following a tour of the municipal departments to observe daily activities, MP Milon attended a view-sharing meeting at the municipality hall.

Speaking as the chief guest, MP Milon emphasized the importance of efficient municipal services and accountability. The session, chaired by Administrator Mohi Uddin, focused on the municipality's overall operations and future development plans.

The meeting was attended by key municipal officials, including Executive Officer Sharadindu Roy and Assistant Engineer Abdul Malek. Prominent local political figures were also present, notably Chhatak Municipality BNP Convener Shamsur Rahman Shamsu, Upazila BNP First Joint Convener Md. Fazlul Karim Bakul, and representatives from the Jubo Dal, Swechchhasebak Dal, and Sramik Dal. The open discussion allowed local leaders and municipal employees to exchange views directly with the MP on regional development.
