NCP forms 11-member Narail district convening committee

The National Citizen Party (NCP) has formed an 11-member convening committee for Narail district.

Agriculturist Munshi Zahidul Islam has been appointed convener, while Engineer Mahmuda Sultana Rimi has been made member secretary.

The announcement was made through a press release signed by Hasnat Abdullah, Chief Organizer (Southern Region), and Akhtar Hossain, Member Secretary of the party’s central committee, on May 24.

Other members of the committee include Senior Joint Convener SM Saifuzzaman, Joint Convener Md. Yasin Arafat, Senior Joint Member Secretary Md. Shahjahan Khan Saju, Joint Member Secretaries Md. Rafiqul Islam Pikul and Lucky Hussain, Organizing Secretary SM Irfanul Bari (Ujjwal), Associate Organizing Secretary Kazi Ijazur Rahman Babu, and two subject secretaries Md. Khan Jahan (Bir Muktijoddha) and Md. Shafiqul Islam.

Senior Joint Member Secretary Md. Shahjahan Khan Saju said the committee has been formed for six months to strengthen party organization at the district level following central directives. He added that a full committee will be completed and submitted to the central office within 15 days.
