Body of Unidentified Man Recovered in Louhjang

Police recovered the body of an unidentified man in Louhjang Upazila, Munshiganj, on Monday morning.

Local residents discovered the body near the road in the Holpatti area following morning prayers. Upon being alerted, a team from Louhjang Police Station arrived at the scene to secure the remains.

Md. Borhan ul Islam, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Louhjang Police Station, stated that the deceased appears to be between 50 and 55 years old. "Preliminary observations suggest the individual may have been mentally unstable. However, the exact cause of death will be determined following an autopsy," the OC added.

The body has been transported to the Munshiganj Sadar Hospital morgue for a post-mortem examination. Police have registered an unnatural death case regarding the incident.
