


National Legal Aid Day was observed in Bhola on Tuesday with the theme: "Dispute resolution at government expense, Bangladesh first."
The day’s proceedings began on Tuesday (April 28) morning with the release of balloons and pigeons, followed by a blood donation drive and a colorful rally through the town.
Later, the Bhola District Legal Aid Committee organized a discussion meeting at the Chief Judicial Magistrate's Court conference room. During the discussion, speakers highlighted the government's role in providing free legal assistance to indigent and marginalized citizens. They called for increased efforts to ensure these services are accessible to the common people at the grassroots level. The event was attended by judicial officials, administrative staff, legal aid recipients, and members of various professional groups.
