Mostafizur Rahman, Member of Parliament for Naogaon-1, officially inaugurated the new Dental Department at the Porsha Upazila Health Complex on Wednesday afternoon.
Following the inauguration, the MP highlighted the government's ongoing initiatives to modernize healthcare services across the country. He noted that plans are underway to upgrade Upazila Health Complexes from 50-bed to 100-bed facilities to meet growing public demand.
During his visit, the MP toured the male and female wards to speak with patients and assess the quality of care. He also held a brief session with the medical staff, offering suggestions to improve service delivery.
Accompanying the MP were Upazila Executive Officer (UNO) Rakibul Islam, Assistant Commissioner (Land) Mosa. Nabila Ferdous, Officer-in-Charge (OC) Ziaur Rahman, and Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr. Nazir Ahmed, along with other local officials.
