


Bosnia and Herzegovina has become the first nation to officially announce its full 26-player squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup. This marks the country’s second appearance in the global tournament, following their debut in 2014.
Head coach Sergej Barbarez confirmed the selection today, headlined by legendary striker Edin Džeko. The 40-year-old captain, who holds the national record for both goals (73) and caps (148), is one of only two players in the current squad—alongside defender Sead Kolašinac—who featured in the 2014 campaign.
