


Transparency International Bangladesh (TIB) Executive Director Dr. Iftekharuzzaman met with Prime Minister Tarique Rahman on Thursday to discuss strategies for eliminating corruption in the country.
The meeting took place at 11:00 AM at the Prime Minister’s Office, located within the Cabinet Division of the Bangladesh Secretariat.
According to the Prime Minister's Press Wing, the discussions centered on implementing effective measures to ensure a corruption-free administration. During the session, Prime Minister Tarique Rahman reaffirmed his government's "zero-tolerance" policy and strict stance against graft.
Cabinet Secretary Nasimul Gani was also present during the meeting.
The Prime Minister’s Additional Press Secretary, Atiqur Rahman Rumon, briefed the media, noting that the dialogue emphasized the government's commitment to transparency and accountability as core priorities for the new administration.
