Dhaka Metro Rail has resumed full operations on its entire route after a suspension following a fatal incident where a bearing pad fell from Pillar number 433 near the Farmgate area.

The service was halted completely for safety after the afternoon incident, which tragically killed one pedestrian and injured two others.

Earlier, a partial resumption of service had occurred, with trains running on the Agargaon-Uttara section starting at 3:00 PM and the Motijheel-Shahbagh section starting at 7:00 PM. The movement of trains on the Shahbagh-Agargaon section had remained suspended until the full route opening.
