Kazi Anwar Hossain Joins ICT Division as New Secretary

Kazi Anwar Hossain has officially taken charge as the Secretary of the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Division. He succeeds his previous role as Additional Secretary in the Local Government Division.

The Ministry of Public Administration issued the appointment notification late Wednesday (March 25). Following the order, Mr. Hossain formally assumed his new responsibilities.

According to a press release signed by Muhammad Jasim Uddin, Public Relations Officer for the Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications, and Information Technology, the new Secretary is committed to reform. Upon taking office, Mr. Hossain expressed his determination to make the division’s operations more dynamic, modern, and people-oriented.

With an extensive career in public administration, the Secretary called for the cooperation of all stakeholders to effectively implement the government’s digital initiatives.
