Public Works Advisor Adilur Rahman Khan confirmed on Monday that 37 official residences have been prepared for the incoming ministers and state ministers.

Speaking to reporters at the Secretariat, the Advisor stated that these houses are located in prime areas, including Minto Road, Dhanmondi, and Gulshan. "The residences are ready for occupancy ahead of the swearing-in ceremony. If more are needed, we are prepared to arrange them promptly," he said.

Regarding the new Prime Minister's residence, Adilur Rahman Khan noted that the choice remains at the discretion of the incoming leader.

Reflecting on the interim government's 18-month tenure, the Advisor highlighted that the administration was born out of a mass uprising and has consistently strived to maintain accountability to the public. "We have worked in the interest of the people and maintained transparency in our actions," he added.
