


Cabinet Secretary Dr. Sheikh Abdur Rashid said that the oath-taking of the new ministers will be held in the next 3-4 days. According to the constitution, President Md. Shahabuddin will administer the oath to the new cabinet members. Approximately 1,000 guests will be invited to the oath-taking ceremony.
He told reporters at the Cabinet Division at the Secretariat on Saturday (February 14) afternoon.
The Cabinet Secretary said that the National Parliament Secretariat will organize the oath-taking of the members of parliament elected in the 13th National Parliament election after the gazette is published. The new cabinet will be formed after the oath-taking of the members of parliament.
Cabinet Division officials said that after the oath-taking of the new members of parliament, the parliamentary party leader will be elected. The President will invite him to form the government.
The party leader will submit his name to the Cabinet Division. The Cabinet Division will send a letter inviting them. The oath-taking of the new members of the cabinet will be held before Ramadan. You can say that it is certain.
Voting took place in 299 constituencies in the 13th National Parliament election last Thursday (February 12). The EC announced unofficial results for 297 constituencies on Friday (February 13). The gazette of the results for Chittagong-2 and 4 constituencies has not been issued yet due to the High Court's directive.
