


Rajshahi’s Bidushi Bornita has been crowned the winner of Lux Superstar 2025, marking the return of the iconic beauty pageant after a seven-year hiatus.
The grand finale took place on Friday evening at the Bangladesh–China Friendship Conference Centre in Dhaka, drawing a large audience and prominent figures from the film and entertainment industry.
The winner was presented with a Swarovski Crystal trophy, a crown, and a luxury car by actress Bidya Sinha Mim, Channel i Managing Director Faridur Reza Sagar, and Unilever Bangladesh CEO Ruhul Quddus Khan. Chittagong’s Amina Islam finished as the first runner-up, while Pabna’s Nazah Nawar Binte Nurul claimed the second runner-up position. Other finalists included Khulna’s Nusrat Afrin Yumna and Dhaka’s Teesta Pal.
The competition, revived after seven years, saw a rigorous selection process from millions of applicants, narrowing down to the top ten and then five finalists. Mentors for this year’s edition included Jaya Ahsan, Mehazabien Chowdhury, and Raihan Rafi. Director Raihan Rafi will produce a film featuring Bornita, while Channel i’s Faridur Reza Sagar announced that director Shihab Shaheen will make a web film with the winners.
The final round, hosted by Mosharraf Karim and Arifin Shuvoo, featured music and dance performances by Jefar Rahman, Irfan Sajjad, Tawsif Mahbub, and Arsh Khan.
Fans and the entertainment industry have welcomed the return of the pageant, celebrating the glamour and talent showcased on stage.
