Following a series of hikes, the price of gold has decreased in the Bangladesh market. Within 24 hours of the last increase, the Bangladesh Jewellers' Association (BAJUS) announced a significant reduction.
According to the new rates effective from 10:00 AM today, Thursday (April 9), the price of 22-carat gold has been reduced by 4,432 BDT, bringing the cost per bhori to 247,977 BDT.
BAJUS stated that the adjustment follows a decline in the price of pure gold in the local market. This reversal comes immediately after Wednesday’s sharp increase of 6,590 BDT.
