A dengue prevention and awareness campaign was conducted by the Nalchiti Municipality on Saturday morning to combat the spread of mosquito-borne diseases.

The event was led by Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) and Municipal Administrator Segufta Mehnaz. During the campaign, officials distributed leaflets to the public and supervised the cleaning of various drainage systems across the municipality. Special measures, including the application of larvicide, were also taken to eliminate mosquito breeding grounds.

Notable attendees included former Municipal Mayor Md. Mojibur Rahman, Municipal Executive Officer Md. Jasim Uddin Khan, Social Service Officer Asaduzzaman Palash, Youth Development Officer Enamul Haque, Primary Education Officer Shirin Akhter, and Md. Miraj Hasan Prince of the Administrator's Performance Support Committee.
