A new office and collection point for the Raruli Bhatpara Gram Samity and the Vermicompost Producers' Women's Cooperative Society was inaugurated on Tuesday morning, February 17. The facility was established in collaboration with the Social Development Foundation (SDF) under the Resilience Entrepreneurship and Livelihood Improvement (RELI) project.

Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Wasiuzzaman Chowdhury inaugurated the building as the chief guest. The ceremony, presided over by SDF District Manager Kazi Hasanuzzaman, featured ICB District Officer Jharna Rani Biswas as the special guest.

Livelihood District Officer Tasreen Zaman moderated the event. Speakers included District Officer Ujjwal Kumar Gayen, CFC Debabrata Ghosh, and presidents of the local societies, Afroza Begum and Kamrunnahar.

Supported by the SDF, local women have gained financial independence through specialized training and production activities, significantly boosting the rural economy and social development in the region.
