Panic and tension erupted on the premises of the Khulna District and Session Judges Court today (November 30) following a shooting incident that resulted in Two fatality death.
The shooting occurred around 12:15 PM within the court complex. Casualties: Deceased: Identified as Rajon and Hasib.
According to Shafiqul Islam, Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Khulna Sadar Police Station, the victims were leaving the court on a motorcycle after attending a hearing when the attackers struck around noon. The gunmen fled the scene immediately.
Both victims were rushed to Khulna Medical College Hospital. The police initially reported both were in critical condition, but the OC later confirmed Rajon's death while Hasib remains in critical state.
Police have cordoned off the area and immediately launched an investigation into the incident.
