FC Barcelona Femení delivered a dominant performance to secure a place in the semi-finals of the UEFA Women's Champions League, crushing Real Madrid Femenino 6-0 in the second leg to seal a commanding 12-2 aggregate victory.

Already holding a 6-2 advantage from the first leg, Barcelona showed no signs of slowing down.

Alexia Putellas opened the scoring in the 8th minute. Caroline Graham Hansen doubled the lead shortly after and added another goal in the second half. Irene Paredes and Ewa Pajor scored before halftime. Esmee Brugts completed the rout in the 74th minute.

The comprehensive win underlined Barcelona’s status as one of the tournament favourites.

Barcelona will face Bayern Munich Women in the semi-finals after the German side advanced from their quarter-final tie.

In another quarter-final, OL Lyonnes (formerly Olympique Lyonnais) overcame VfL Wolfsburg Women 4-1 on aggregate after extra time.

Melchie Dumornay and Damaris Egurrola scored crucial goals in extra time. Tabitha Chawinga sealed the win late in the game.

Lyon will now face reigning champions Arsenal Women in a high-profile semi-final clash.

In the inaugural Women’s Europa Cup, BK Häcken Women defeated Eintracht Frankfurt Women 3-1 on aggregate.

They will meet Hammarby IF Women in an all-Swedish final after Hammarby eliminated Slavia Prague Women 5-2 on aggregate.
