The NAACP, a leading civil rights organization, has called for the immediate impeachment and removal of U.S. President Donald Trump under the 25th Amendment. The report was first published by Al Jazeera.

Founded in 1909, this marks the first time in the organization's 117-year history that it has taken such a decisive stance against a sitting president.

NAACP President Derrick Johnson issued a scathing statement, describing the president’s conduct as dangerous and a threat to national stability. Johnson argued that when a leader shows contempt for the truth and the well-being of the people, they pose a risk to both the nation and the world.

The organization is now urging Congress to take immediate action to remove him from power.
