


The prices of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and autogas have been increased again at the consumer level for the month of February. According to the new decision, the price of a 12-kg LPG cylinder has been increased by Tk 50 to Tk 1,356.
The Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) announced the price increase on Monday (February 2). The agency said that the new price will be effective from 6 pm.
BERC Chairman Jalal Ahmed said that the price of 12-kg LPG has been increased from Tk 1,306 to Tk 1,356 for the month of February. Earlier, the price of LPG was last adjusted on January 4. At that time, the price of a 12-kg cylinder was increased by Tk 53 to Tk 1,306.
At the same time, the price of autogas has also been increased. The price of autogas at the consumer level in February has been increased by Tk 2.34 per liter to Tk 62.14 including VAT.
The last adjustment of autogas prices was made on January 4. At that time, the price was increased by Tk 2.48 per liter to Tk 59.80 including VAT.
