A press conference was held at the initiative of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Idilpur Union branch of Sadullapur upazila of Gaibandha. The press conference was held at 12 noon on Wednesday (February 18) at the temporary office of Idilpur Union Jamaat-e-Islami. The press conference was presided over by Idilpur Union Jamaat-e-Islami President Md. Shafiul Islam.

In his speech, he alleged that a leader of BNP's women's party has recently been spreading false and baseless propaganda against Jamaat-e-Islami in various ways, including social media, which is completely intentional and misleading. He further said, "Jamaat-e-Islami is a principle-based and democratic political organization.

A malicious group of self-interested individuals is systematically spreading such propaganda to tarnish the reputation and sentiments of this organization. We strongly condemn and protest the activities of Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami M.S. At the press conference, he issued a stern warning and said that if such false propaganda is not stopped, the organization will take necessary organizational and legal steps in the future. He called on the concerned persons to refrain from such propaganda.

Union Jamaat-e-Islami and other leaders and activists were present at the press conference. They expressed their determination to continue the unity, discipline and peaceful political activities of the organization.
