Apex Club Distributes Winter Blankets to Needy in Lama

The Apex Club of Lama distributed winter blankets among underprivileged residents and madrasa students in Bandarban’s Lama Upazila on Wednesday.

The initiative was funded by LG. PNP Ape. Rizwan Shahidi and dedicated to the memory of the recently deceased National Service Director of Apex Bangladesh, Ape. Nurul Amin Chowdhury Arman. The distribution ceremony took place at the Lama Reporters Club meeting room, where 80 individuals received blankets to help combat the severe winter cold.

The program was inaugurated by Muhammad Kamaluddin, former general secretary of Lama Press Club. It was presided over by Apex Club of Lama Vice President Ape. Belal Ahmed.

Special guests included Mohammad Karim, former president of the Reporters Club; Md. Nurul Karim Arman, correspondent for the Daily Amar Desh; and Ape. Md. Tayyab Ali, President of the Apex Club of Lama. Other local journalists and community leaders were also in attendance to support the humanitarian effort.
