Chhayanird publishing house held a language workshop and prize distribution ceremony in Tangail.

Tangail's publishing house Chhayanird organized a "Language Workshop and Prize Distribution" event at the Tangail General Library auditorium on Friday.

Barrister Golam Nabi a prominent lawyer also educationist and social worker attended as chief guest. Professor Khandaker Mahfuzul Haque acting principal of Tangail Government MM Ali College presided over the event.

Special guests included Bangladesh Teachers' Association General Secretary Md. Shamim Al Mamun Jewel, social worker Joyita Lutfa Akhter Mita, a poet and organizer Begum Rokeya Islam and teacher-writer Masuda Sultana. Chhayanird's executive director, Professor Md. Lutfar Rahman led the main discussion.

Tangail General Library editor and poet Mahmud Kamal along with Nazrul researcher and lawyer Al Ruhi were also present. Teachers, students, literature enthusiasts and people from various professions attended the event in large numbers.
