Badminton tournament finals held at Tangail LGED

The finals of the Kamrul Islam Siddique Badminton tournament were held at Tangail LGED. The finals of the tournament held at the LGED campus on Monday (February 16) night were attended by the chief guest, Local Government Engineering Department (LGED) Dhaka Divisional Additional Chief Engineer ABM Rezaul Bari.

The event was presided over by Tangail LGED Executive Engineer Mohammad Kamruzzaman and special guests were LGED Project Director Md.Abdur Razzak and their wives. The event was moderated by Tangail LGED Senior Assistant Engineer Jahanar Parveen. The overall supervision of the tournament was provided by Assistant Engineer Md. Shakib-ul-Hafiz.

In the final of the tournament, Md. Shakib-ul-Hafiz and Md. Nadimul Islam of the Executive Engineer's Office defeated Himel Khan and Alimul Islam of Tushi Enterprises of the contractor side in a three-set match and won. 28 teams in 4 groups consisting of 12 upazilas and contractors of Tangail district participated in the tournament. The Kamrul Islam Siddique Badminton Tournament started on the night of January 28 this year at the Tangail campus of LGED.
