The surprise attacks on Iran by Israel and the United States have continued for 13 days as of Thursday (March 12). According to reports, the death toll in Iran has surpassed 1,700, with more than a thousand people injured. There are still no clear signs that the conflict will end soon.

Speaking to reporters in Maryland, US President Donald Trump made strong claims about the situation on the battlefield.

Trump said the United States is receiving “very good news” from the battlefield and claimed that Iran is “being completely destroyed.” According to him, the country is now on the verge of collapse.

However, he also said this does not mean the war will end immediately. “They are finished,” Trump added.

The US president further claimed that Iran no longer has an effective navy, air force, or air defense system. “They have no control systems left. We are now moving freely over that country,” he said.

Trump also said that key sea routes will be closely monitored and claimed that the current operational systems are functioning well.

“The main thing is that we have to win,” he said. “We must win quickly, but we must ensure that we win. Many people say we have already won. The question now is when we stop. We do not want this power to rise again.”

He also issued another warning to Iran, saying the US could strike different parts of Tehran if necessary. According to him, such strikes would make it extremely difficult for Iran to rebuild the country.

Trump further claimed that the United States could destroy Iran’s electricity generation capacity within an hour. However, he added that the US is not planning to take such action at the moment.
