Barisal University Student Seeks Urgent Medical Aid

Hussain Ahmed, a fourth-year honors student in the Bangla department at Barisal University is currently fighting for his life due to severe health complications from advanced tuberculosis (TB). He is undergoing treatment at the Christian Medical College (CMC) Hospital in Vellore, Tamil Nadu, India.

Hussain, who hails from Paikgachha in Khulna, is the primary hope for his middle-class family. His medical expenses have completely exhausted his family's financial resources. Doctors have stated that he requires immediate, long-term and expensive advanced treatment to recover which is now beyond his family's financial capacity.

In response, his classmates from Barisal University and his former high school batchmates have launched a crowdfunding campaign to raise the necessary funds for his treatment.
