New SP of Chattogram District Police Mohammad Nazir Ahmed Khan

Mohammad Nazir Ahmed Khan has been appointed as the new Superintendent of Police (SP) of Chattogram District Police. He is currently serving as the Superintendent of Police of Comilla District.

On Wednesday (November 26), the Superintendents of Police of 64 districts of the country were transferred in a notification issued by the Public Security Division Police-1 Branch of the Ministry of Home Affairs. The notification was signed by Deputy Secretary Md. Mahabubur Rahman on the orders of the President.

In the same notification, the current Superintendent of Police of Chattogram Md. Saiful Islam Santu has been transferred as the Superintendent of Police of Sirajganj District.

Incidentally, the selection of the transfer of these SPs was completed through a lottery at the residence of the Chief Advisor on Monday (November 24).

The interim government has finalized the Superintendents of Police of 64 districts in preparation for the upcoming 13th National Parliament elections.
