To mark the holy occasion of Eid-e-Miladunnabi with a discussion meeting and Milad Mahfil were held in Naogaon's Porsha upazila on Wednesday.
The local administration organised the central event at the Upazila Parishad auditorium with Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Rakibul Islam presiding over the programme.
During the gathering, speakers reflected on the life, Sunnah and ideals of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). They emphasised the importance of incorporating his teachings on humanity, peace and moral values into everyday life.
The event was attended by Assistant Commissioner (Land) Nabila Ferdous and Rural Livelihood Project Officer Manjur Morshed alongside teachers, local dignitaries and officials from various government departments.
In addition to the upazila administration's programme, similar discussions, Milad Mahfils and Hamd-Naat renditions were organised across various educational institutions in the upazila to share the Prophet's (PBUH) teachings with students.
