


Reserved MP Fahmida Haque received a warm reception from local party leaders and activists during her first official visit to Paikgachha and Koyra on Monday August 3. Haque who holds additional responsibilities for the Khulna-6 and Khulna-2 constituencies attended a view-sharing meeting as the chief guest.
Organized jointly by the Paikgachha Upazila Municipality and Koyra Upazila units of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) the event took place at the Bangladesh Fisheries Research Institute’s Lonapani Center auditorium in Paikgachha. Hundreds of grassroots supporters gathered to welcome the MP upon her arrival.
Paikgachha Upazila BNP Convener Dr. Md. Abdul Majid chaired the session which was moderated by Member Secretary SM Imdadul Haque. Khulna District BNP Acting Member Secretary SM Monirul Hasan Bappi delivered the keynote address.
Several prominent local figures addressed the gathering as special guests. These included Khulna District Red Crescent Vice Chairman Ashraful Alam Nannu Paikgachha Municipality BNP President Aslam Parvez Koyra Upazila BNP former General Secretary Nurul Amin Babul and Paikgachha Lawyers Association President Advocate GM Abdus Sattar alongside other district and municipal leaders. The meeting primarily focused on strengthening regional political coordination and engaging with local community leaders.
