


A student science project and innovative ideas exhibition was held at Porsha Upazila in Naogaon to foster creativity and research mindsets among young learners.
The fair, themed "Bangladesh, the country of talent-science-innovation, first and foremost," was held at the Shaheed Pinku Girls' High School ground. Organized under the Educational Excellence Support Scheme of the Secondary and Higher Education Directorate (SEDP), the event was implemented jointly by the upazila administration and the upazila secondary education office.
The day-long fair kicked off at 10:00 AM on Friday with 13 exhibition stalls representing various local educational institutions.
In the afternoon, Md. Mostafizur Rahman, Member of Parliament for the Naogaon-1 constituency, formally inaugurated the event as the chief guest. He later distributed certificates and crests to two outstanding teachers and three exceptional students for their innovative projects.

The closing ceremony was presided over by Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Rakibul Islam.
Other notable attendees included Assistant Commissioner (Land) Mosa: Nabila Ferdous, Thana Officer-in-Charge Ziaur Rahman, Academy Supervisor Kanak Chandra Roy, Upazila Secondary Teachers' Association General Secretary Shariful Islam, and Acting Headmaster Sadequl Islam. Local political leaders, government department heads, teachers, and students also attended the event.
