Theft at Paikgachha Health Complex

Documents and CCTV Gear Stolen

Thieves broke into the Paikgachha Upazila Health Complex in Khulna on Saturday night, stealing essential office equipment and official documents.

Hospital sources reported that the intruders entered through the window of the Upazila Health Officer’s office. The stolen items include a 56-inch CCTV monitor, a Digital Video Recorder (DVR), a router, and various antennas. Additionally, the thieves ransacked two cupboards and took important administrative files.

Dr. Ahsanara Binte Ahmed, the Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer, confirmed the incident and stated that the hospital is currently filing a formal police complaint.

The theft at a key government facility has caused significant concern among the local community.
