The Wadud Bhuiyan Foundation provided free medical consultations and essential medicines to over 300 low-income residents in Ramgarh Upazila on Friday.
The medical camp, organized by the Foundation’s local branch, was held at the Shilpi Community Center in Ramgarh Bazaar. Throughout the afternoon, experienced doctors treated patients traveling from various parts of the district who otherwise lack access to consistent healthcare.
Zakia Jinat Bithi, Chief Advisor of the Khagrachari District BNP, officially inaugurated the campaign. During the opening ceremony, Ramgarh Upazila BNP President Jasim Uddin welcomed attendees and emphasized the importance of community-supported health initiatives.
Mohammad Raihan, President of the Foundation’s Ramgarh branch, confirmed that the initiative successfully reached more than 300 "helpless and indigent" individuals. "Patients received professional medical advice, health records, and necessary prescriptions at no cost," Raihan stated.
Several local leaders attended the event in support, including District BNP Vice President Hafez Ahmed Bhuiyan, City BNP President Bahar Uddin, and Upazila BNP General Secretary Safayet Morshed Bhuiyan, alongside representatives from the Mahila Dal and other allied organizations.
