Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) President Aminul Islam Bulbul has left for Melbourne, Australia, citing urgent personal matters. He informed the BCB board of directors of his departure via a WhatsApp message on Monday.

While directors confirmed receiving the message, the exact timing of his departure remained a subject of speculation throughout the day. Some sources suggest he boarded a flight late Monday night.

In his communication to the board, Bulbul instructed committee heads to continue their routine activities without interruption. He assured the directors that he would remain accessible online for coordination and support during his stay abroad.

The BCB President also extended his Ramadan greetings to the board members, concluding his message with a promise to "return soon, Inshallah." His departure comes during a busy period for the board following the recent conclusion of the national elections and ongoing preparations for the international cricket calendar.
