BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman has announced that if BNP comes to power, Faridpur will be divided. He made this announcement at an election rally in Faridpur on Wednesday (February 4) afternoon.

He said, we want to build a Padma barrage around the Faridpur region. So that the water problem during the dry season is solved. No big work is possible without the support of the people. With the support of the people, BNP will be able to do any big work.

Announcing the plan for the development of Faridpur by applying modern agricultural management, the BNP Chairman said, we want to develop both the agricultural and industrial sectors, so that the local people can live with self-respect through employment.

Tarique Rahman said, we will not be able to move forward if half of the women of the country are left behind. And therefore, we want to provide family cards to every housewife. As a result, the backward families will gradually become self-reliant and the country will also move forward.

Earlier, after finishing the rally in Barisal, Tarique Rahman landed at Faridpur Stadium by helicopter at 2:40 pm. Then he joined the public meeting around 3 pm.

Tarique Rahman visited Faridpur for the first time focusing on the upcoming 13th National Parliament elections. A festive atmosphere prevailed throughout Faridpur with the arrival of the party chief. Thousands of leaders and activists gathered at the public meeting venue in separate processions with banners and festoons in their hands since morning.
