All CNG filling stations across the country will remain open 24 hours a day for 13 days to ensure smooth travel for home-bound passengers during Eid-ul-Azha.
The Energy and Mineral Resources Division issued this directive in a letter to the Chairman of Petrobangla. To prevent traffic congestion and guarantee a steady fuel supply on major highways, stations will operate round-the-clock for seven days before Eid and five days after Eid day.
According to the official directive, this special arrangement will be effective from May 21 to June 2.
Concurrently, citizens will enjoy a seven-day holiday for Eid-ul-Azha. The government has declared the official holiday from May 25 to May 31. Per a cabinet decision, offices will remain open on May 23 and 24 immediately leading up to the holiday period.
