Dr. Nasimul Gani Appointed as New Cabinet Secretary

Dr. Nasimul Gani, Senior Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs, has been appointed as the New Cabinet Secretary.

The appointment was announced in a notification issued by the Ministry of Public Administration on Monday, 16 February.

According to the notification, Dr Gani has been appointed on a contractual basis. The order was signed by Senior Assistant Secretary Mohammad Mamun Shibli.

The appointment takes effect immediately and was made in the public interest, the notification said.
