Chief Advisor Dr. Muhammad Yunus expressed strong optimism regarding the upcoming 13th parliamentary elections scheduled for February, predicting that the event will be "peaceful and festive" and a source of national pride.

Dr. Yunus made these remarks while speaking at the closing ceremony of the National Defence Course (NDC) and Armed Forces War Course-2025 at Mirpur Cantonment on Wednesday (December 3rd) morning.

He stated that the nation would be proud of this "historic election." Addressing the course graduates, Dr. Yunus emphasized that the knowledge and experience gained will be instrumental in national development, policy-making, and strategic decision-making. He praised the National Defence College for establishing itself as a center of excellence in security and development studies, noting its role in creating efficient leadership to handle rapidly changing national and international challenges.
