A cargo plane skidded off the runway and plunged into the sea at Hong Kong International Airport on Monday, killing two airport security personnel, officials confirmed.
The Emirates Flight EK9788, a Boeing 747-481 operated by Turkish cargo airline Air ACT, had arrived from Dubai when the accident occurred.
Firefighters reached the scene within two minutes, authorities said. The aircraft reportedly broke into two pieces, with one section floating in the water.
All four crew members survived, escaping through a broken door before being rescued.
Airport officials said weather conditions were clear at the time of the crash and no other flights were affected.
