The makers of SS Rajamouli’s ambitious action-adventure film, tentatively titled SSMB29 but now referred to as 'Globetrotter,' have released the first look of Priyanka Chopra Jonas as the character Mandakini, marking her anticipated return to Indian cinema.

Chopra's character poster features her in a striking pose over rocky terrain, wearing a mustard yellow saree and wielding a gun in a dramatic, windswept setting. Sharing the look, she described Mandakini as "more than what meets the eye." This is Chopra's first collaboration with director SS Rajamouli (RRR, Baahubali).

Globetrotter is shaping up to be one of the most ambitious Indian films recently, reportedly drawing inspiration from African exploration adventures.

The lead star, Mahesh Babu, was previously revealed in a rugged look featuring a chest adorned with a rudraksh mala bearing a trishul and Nandi pendant, suggesting potential mythic undertones.

Rajamouli also introduced Prithviraj Sukumaran as the "sinister and ruthless" antagonist, Kumbha, who was shown in an all-black outfit seated in a high-tech wheelchair.

The official title and the first full glimpse of Globetrotter are confirmed to be revealed on November 15 at a major launch event at Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad. The event will be live-streamed on JioHotstar.
