Youth leader Kamruzzaman Swapan announces candidacy for the post of chairman

Kamruzzaman Swapan Joint Convener of the Muksudpur Upazila Jubo Dal and former President of the Muksudpur Upazila Chhatra Dal has announced his intention to contest the upcoming Muksudpur Upazila Parishad election for the post of chairman.

In a recent message shared on social media he announced his intention to contest the election and sought the prayers love and support of people from all walks of life in Muksudpur.

Kamruzzaman Swapan is a familiar figure in the local political arena and has been actively involved in politics for many years. He became involved in nationalist politics during his student life and has held various organisational responsibilities at different levels. He previously served as the President of the Muksudpur Upazila Chhatra Dal and is currently serving as the Joint Convener of the Muksudpur Upazila Jubo Dal.

According to his supporters Kamruzzaman Swapan faced political harassment, lawsuits and torture at various times due to his political activities during the Awami League government. They claim that around 15 cases were filed against him and that he was arrested and imprisoned several times. Despite facing various challenges, legal pressure and political persecution, he continued his political activities his supporters said.

Following his announcement of candidacy for the chairman's post discussions have begun in Muksudpur's political circles. His supporters believe that his long political experience, organisational skills and active role at the grassroots level will make him a strong and promising candidate in the upcoming election.

The announcement has also generated enthusiasm among his supporters and followers. They believe that his candidacy could add a new dimension to the political dynamics of Muksudpur ahead of the upcoming Upazila Parishad election.
