MP Abul Kalam Azad Visits Paikgachha Health Complex

Local Member of Parliament (MP) Maulana Abul Kalam Azad visited the Paikgachha Upazila Health Complex on Wednesday morning to assess the facility and speak with local healthcare providers.

Upon his arrival, MP Azad was welcomed by Upazila Health and Family Planning Officer Dr. Ahsanara Binte Ahmed. During a meeting with hospital officials and staff, he listened to the facility's current challenges and assured them that solutions would be prioritized to ensure better public healthcare.

During the visit, the MP also handed over a Tk 3 lakh allocation check for the renovation of the Health Complex Jame Mosque, provided under the Social Infrastructure Development Project.

Key figures present at the meeting included Paikgachha Upazila BNP President Dr. Abdul Majid, along with hospital medical officers and consultants Dr. Sujan Kumar Sarkar (Gynecology), Dr. Zahirul Islam (Anesthesia), Dr. Shakila Afroz (Resident Medical Officer), and Dr. Sanjay Kumar Mondal.
