


The daily Bangladesh Bulletin celebrated its ninth founding anniversary in Gazipur on Thursday with a colorful rally and a cake-cutting ceremony renewing its commitment to objective journalism.
Organized by the newspaper's Gazipur district office, the day's events began at 10:00 a.m. with a vibrant rally. Journalists, local dignitaries and community leaders paraded through the city's main roads before converging at the Bangladesh Bulletin office at Iqbal Kutir on Habibullah Sarani.
Following the rally, a formal discussion and cake-cutting ceremony took place. The program was chaired by Md. Shafiqul Islam Jitu, the newspaper’s Gazipur District Correspondent and moderated by Metropolitan Correspondent Md. Bayezid Hossain.
The event drew a large gathering of media professionals, including editors and staff reporters from various national and local publications, as well as local political and community figures.
Speakers at the event praised the Bangladesh Bulletin for earning readers' trust through nine years of accurate and impartial reporting. Attendees expressed their hope that the publication will continue to champion truth, public interest and national development in the years to come.
