Bangladesh Bulletin celebrated its 9th founding anniversary with a discussion meeting and cake-cutting ceremony in Jhalokati.

The event took place at 11 a.m. on Thursday (June 25) at the Jhalokati Press Club's Kazi Khalilur Rahman Auditorium.

Jhalokati Acting Deputy Commissioner Md. Kawsar Hossain attended as the chief guest. He inaugurated the celebration by cutting the anniversary cake and addressed the gathering, wishing the publication continued success in the future.

Gazi Gias Uddin Bashir, the newspaper’s Jhalokati District Representative, presided over the meeting. Other notable attendees included Additional Deputy Commissioner Md. Touhidul Islam, Jhalokati Press Club President Md. Akkas Sikder, former acting president Al-Amin Talukder, Daily Gauchia editor Alok Saha, and Bangladesh Bulletin staff reporter Md. Nazrul Islam.

During the discussion, speakers praised Bangladesh Bulletin for its objective and courageous journalism over the past nine years. They highlighted the publication’s vital role in reflecting public opinion with professionalism and expressed hope that it will continue to champion truth, justice, and the public interest.

Local journalists and well-wishers attended the event, which concluded with a lively exchange of greetings among the local media community.
