Police recovered the hanging body of a 40-year-old man in Uttar Salua village of Khulna's Paikgachha upazila on Wednesday morning.
The deceased, Ziaur Majlish, was a local resident and son of the late Nawab Ali Majlish. According to local sources, relatives discovered him hanging from a tree branch outside his home and promptly notified the authorities. Police arrived at the scene shortly after, recovered the body, and launched an initial investigation.
While family members and neighbors suspect it was a suicide, the exact circumstances leading to his death remain unconfirmed. Police officials stated that the body will undergo a standard legal and medical process to determine the actual cause of death.
