Upazila Ansar and VDP have distributed cleanliness drive and leaflets to create social awareness in Sariakandi Upazila of Bogra to increase public awareness on dengue prevention.
On Thursday (October 30) afternoon, Upazila Ansar and VDP officer Md. Rakibul Hasan, along with his allowance-receiving Ansar VDP members, distributed leaflets with the aim of increasing cleanliness and awareness on dengue prevention.
He also requested the traders of Sariakandi market to clean the area around their shops twice a day. He said that if there is water accumulating in the drain, they should clean it on their own responsibility. Upazila Ansar and VDP officer Md. Rakibul Hasan.
In this regard, Ansar and VDP officer Md. Rakibul Hasan said, "We are carrying out this cleaning activity on the instructions of Ansar and VDP District Commandant Md. Saddam Hossain, PVM, Bogra. After cleaning various areas of the market, we sprinkled bleaching powder. We told the traders about what to do to prevent dengue. We distributed leaflets among everyone for public awareness.
