A 15-year-old boy was killed and another critically injured after their motorcycle hit a roadside tree in the Sichni Bridge area of the Dabar-Jagannathpur road on Monday afternoon.

The deceased, Nirab Mia, was a seventh-grade student at Aktapara Madrasa and the son of Tadir Islam from Islampur village. His classmate, Sakibur Islam, 15, sustained life-threatening injuries in the accident.
