A preparatory meeting was held on Monday to organize the upcoming "New Bud" sports competition in Porsha, Naogaon.

The meeting, held at the Upazila Parishad Hallroom, was presided over by Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Rakibul Islam. Organized by the Upazila administration, the session focused on the smooth implementation of the 2026 sports program for young athletes.

Key attendees included Upazila Social Service Officer Shahidul Islam, Sports Association Team Manager Salauddin Ahmed, local Union Parishad chairmen, and representatives from various educational institutions. Participants discussed logistical arrangements and the importance of fostering athletic talent at the grassroots level.
