


The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB-2) launched a special operation on Sunday morning to crack down on unauthorized brokers operating at Shaheed Suhrawardy Medical College Hospital and surrounding medical institutes in the capital.
The drive began at the Suhrawardy Hospital in the College Gate area and expanded to include the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (Heart Institute) and the National Institute of Traumatology and Orthopaedic Rehabilitation (Pangu Hospital) in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar.
According to officials, the operation aims to stop the harassment of patients and their families by middlemen who often manipulate hospital services for illegal gain.
