Two Arrested with 10 Kg Marijuana in Khulna RAB Drive

The Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested two suspected drug dealers with 10 kilograms of marijuana during an anti-narcotics drive in Khulna on Saturday afternoon.

Acting on a tip-off, a RAB team intercepted a vehicle at the Khanjahan Ali Bridge toll plaza under Rupsha Police Station around 2:50 PM. During the search RAB seized the contraband and detained the two individuals on the spot.

The suspects have been identified as Md. Mamun 22, of the Fulbari Gate area in Daulatpur and Md. Alauddin Patwary 25, of West Senpara.

The detainees along with the seized drugs have been handed over to the Rupsha Police Station. A regular case has been filed against them under the Narcotics Control Act and further legal proceedings are currently underway.
